    • Use of Donation


    All of our summer volunteers pay for their own expenses on site, including airfares. Our staff are volunteers who do not receive any monetary compensation. Your donation will be used on:


  • purchase and transport of books
  • purchase of facilities for the library (including bookshelves, furniture, fans and lamps)
  • renovation of the library (such as repainting the walls)
  • maintenance of the library (such as updating catalogue, making library cards)
  • salary or stipend of the local librarians
  • materials required to support education activity within and without schools (such as reading programs)
  • volunteer training
