This program is an exciting opportunity for students, researchers, and young professionals interested in volunteer work, rural education, the non-profit sector in China, and international development. Volunteers are normally expected to have adequate verbal proficiency in Mandarin Chinese. While we welcome everybody who is willing to contribute to the education of underpriviliged children in China, our volunteers have mainly beenundergraduate students, graduate students, and young professionals based in the US, Canada, and China.
